India wants HDB style flats for their scientists

Build Singapore flats for scientists (Sunday June 5 2005 11:04 IST):

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy has urged officials to develop Singapore-type of housing flats in Genome Valley, Bio Technology Park, near here, for scientists.

He was reviewing the performance of government agencies, including the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, AP Irrigation Development Corporation, AP State Finance Corporation and AP State Trading Corporation here on Saturday.

He told the officials to ensure proper water supply to the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City, near Visakhapatnam.

He instructed the officials to complete the master plan for zoning adjoining areas of the Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone by June.
